Lucid is a new electric vehicle company out of California. If you are one of the early adopters and have unfortunately cracked your windshield, we can help! We can replace Lucid windshields, rear windows, and side windows. We should be able to replace side mirrors at some point (call to check).
Alfa Auto Glass is Fast!
One huge advantage of Alfa Auto Glass is our turnaround time is very fast compared to your other options. New electric car companies can have service backlogs that can be painfully long and annoying. For instance, in 2021 we were slammed with Tesla windshield replacement jobs because of these types of issues.

Paying For Glass Repairs With Insurance
We do take payment from insurance companies. You will most likely have to pay your deductible. However, we will facilitate the paperwork and calls required to make sure your insurance payment goes through.
Electric vehicles are a bit different than gasoline-powered vehicles and there are a few things you want to watch out for.
- Beware of the Torque! – Electric cars and trucks have a lot of horsepower and torque. They can accelerate extremely quickly. This can catch some new electric drivers off guard. So, be careful when backing up. Some of our customers have been known to back up into objects that break their windows and mirrors.
- Stay far behind or away from gravel hauling trucks – There’s nothing worse than a rock flying into your windshield and breaking your glass. Especially when you have an electric car. Electric car windshields tend to be really expensive relative to gas-powered cars. It has nothing to do with electric motors, it’s just the windshields don’t come from the same glass manufacturers that the rest of the auto industry uses. So, be extra careful!
